A Night of Kings Parade or ‘Cabalgata de Reyes’ is held throughout the Spanish speaking world on the evening of January 5th each year to mark ‘Epiphany’ or the coming of the Magi (Three Kings/Wise Men) to the baby Jesus. The oldest and greatest Cabalgata is held in Madrid. Each year this stunning Parade is viewed by more than a million on the streets of Spain’s Capital and is broadcast live to all Spanish speaking nations. The Cabalgata de Reyes is a simply magnificent event, and Youth Music of the World is privileged to have been given the exclusive rights to arrange the Performance Travel programme to Madrid for two musical groups each year.
"The Madrid Cabalagata de Reyes is unlike any other event we have ever performed in. The lighted, nighttime Parade is beloved by the People of Madrid, and the vibrant atmosphere created an experience my students will never forget."
"The Madrid Cabalgata de Reyes was the largest and most unique parade that I have ever been a part of. The people are incredibly friendly and enthusiastic and the night parade atmosphere was amazing. What a privilege to be part of this event!"
"The Cabalgata de Reyes is one of the most outstanding performances we have ever been a part of! A night parade through the heart of Madrid, with what seemed like the entire city in attendance, made us feel like rock stars. This was a one of a kind opportunity for our young performers to perform for one of the most appreciative audiences in the world."
